Reserve officer, Derek Hunter, was recognized by the Mountain View Police Department for his
courageous actions during a recent residential house fire. Officer Hunter's calm judgement, bravery, and commitment to protecting others ensured that victims were removed from immediate danger and received medical attention as quickly as possible. In recognition of his actions, Chief Christopher L. Hardison issued a Letter of Commendation, noting that Officer Hunter's professionalism and heroism reflect the highest standards of law enforcement and bring great credit to the Mountain View Police Department.
